On Friday January 21, we will be hosting an assembly by the Chinese Acrobats. This assembly will be held at the Taekwondo studio. Please use the alley entrance. Students are to bring $5 to help defer the cost of this assembly. The Chinese Acrobat show is sure to be stunning, amazing, and very professional. Our Holiday program will be on Friday December 17 at 6:00 pm at the American Heritage charter school auditorium. Students need to be there by 5:00pm. On November 12th, the students welcomed some very extraordinary guests to our school. Wildlife Encounters from the Bureau of Lectures, brought animals from Australia for our students to see. We learned many interesting facts about the sugar glider, the kookaburra, a wallaby, lizards, snakes and a crocodile.
Time has flown by and updating our site has been knocked off our scheduled. So a quick update . . . We had a wonderful Fall Cultural Fair at the beginning of November. Some pictures are in the Verde Independent’s Photo Gallery if you would like to see what fun we had. Final tallies [...] ALCS PTO will meet this Friday, September 10th at 4 PM in the Lunchroom. Please try to come and help us make plans for our fundraisers for this school year. Every little bit helps! Our 5th and 6th grade students had a suprise today when they meet their new teacher Mr. Smithson. A late change for our school when we found out that Mr. Dismond would not be able to take the position at this time.
